Wicked Cool Productions is proud to announce the much anticipated Rock n Roll Resort v5: “Electric Avenue” May 1-3, 2015.
**The official pre-party w/ The Werks to be hosted at The Oasis Cafe in New Paltz, NY on Thurs, April 30.
This installment features three stages and will host a talented bill of up and coming acts from around the Northeast all weekend long.
Get Intrinsically Intertwined with the legendary rock/ska/punk band, Fishbone and groove to the beat of the Easy Star All Stars, one of the top international reggae acts on the scene today. Another exciting feature of the bill is the Vermont based quartet Twiddle (2 sets) spinning tall tales over an intricate soundscape of Hi-Def shred.
Additional artists include The Werks, Consider the Source, Adam Ezra Group, Beau Sasser’s Escape Plan, Organically Good Trio (featuring Paul from Slightly Stoopid), Bud & Budd ~ The Kind Buds, The Gaslight Tinkers, Dangermuffin, Banooba, Formula 5, Sprocket, Eggy, People with Instruments, Strange Machines, The Skints, Political Animals, and many more to be announced. The resort takeover happens April 30 – May 3, 2015 at the newly renovated Hudson Valley Resort & Spa, Kerhonkson, New York, in the heart of the Shawangunk Mountains in the gorgeous Catskills.
The v5: Electric Avenue installment of Rock n Roll Resort will showcase an inspired mix of super talent with over 60 hours of musical entertainment, collaborative live art, activities including a disc-golf tournament and mini-golf tournament, workshops and theme nights, cyberistic euphoria, delicious catering and even a festival vendor row; all at an affordable price and within the conveniences of the Hudson Valley Resort & Spa. Many artists will take the stage multiple times throughout the weekend, and many more artists will be announced for the second wave lineup.
Just 90 miles from New York City, the Hudson Valley Resort & Spa is ideally situated in the Shawangunk Mountains.
