The worst part of this tour is that I couldn't travel right behind you. The best part of this tour is that you arrive in Lenox on the 31st and my mom has the lake house in August. So we definatly have to find a day we can plan a dinner. Let me know when you have some time to relax. :)

Hi Tony,
It was great to meet you at the Dreamaway Lodge this weekend and I loved the show and your latest album. I'm interested in your first album as well if you still have a few left. Also, I'd be happy to send you my first attempt at writing a song for the American Idol Songwriting competition if you let me know an email address to send it to. I now have several more songs written and I'm working on others.
Best wishes,
Vance

I am getting more and more worried about the economy and global meltdown.
The more things change the more they remain the same. The fundamental challenges we face today have changed little since Chaucer penned his observations on life and distilled them in a set of tales. In the modern city of Canterbury University Students analyse and dissect the meanings conveyed in texts set in that very locale in the 1300’s.
Youngsters face today’s Jekyll and Hyde society not knowing that the Constants remain; love, betrayal, desire, fear. Each story conveys a lesson as we study for our degree in the University of Life, the big diploma mill of which we are all Alumni. We sit grinning like Cheshire cats, thinking we have all the answers.
We call it a success when we pollute our atmosphere shooting down our own Satellite USA 193, Market Street Credibility is our preferred accreditation and recognition from our peers and fellow consumers, we Poison our Planet for Profit. Banks have crashed before and remember – you can’t eat money.
Globalization has consequences. Everything we do has consequences, even something simple like buying firewood. The Oregon ODA advises not to obtain anything from out-of-state because of all the insects and diseases it might carry. That is just a relatively local issue. Imagine all the things that are carried around the world each day – each hour. We must protect our future, just as we should remember our past. All over the world, From the UK to the USA and the Seychelles to Egypt, still, yes, STILL, there is no REAL alternative to fossil fuels.
Are we all going to purgatory in a wheelbarrow telling each other stories to pass the time? Sometimes I wonder!
Sorry guys, I had a long day and feel sick of the world. Rant Over!

How wonderful it was to see you on Friday night, playing so much of your new material from " In Love & War". I really appreciated the blues you played for me...you did a great job on James Gang too!! I used to play guitar but that's a long story...the Reader's Digest version is that while I was in the middle of taking guitar lessons from Jay Fruet and focusing primarily on the blues I had a little accident. Not my fault but that doesn't change the fact that the drunk driver who hit me took off the tips of 2 of my fingers, of course, my chording hand. At that point I was about to start on the second phase of lessons, and maybe even start to play with other musicians. To be honest, I was no Clapton!! It was something that I loved doing for me, and I guess I could play slide, we'll see. Flexibility is really the problem because I can't bend my fingers to form the chords. Guess I'll just have to play vicariously through those I enjoy watching, like you! See you soon, keep your eye on the prize....the next step up the ladder is just a moment away. Stay well, Debra.

Hey, Anthony,
I just returned from the Guthrie Center where I had the pleasure of hearing Annie with Sarah Lee and Johnny and learned of your connection and focus as a songwriter and performer. Once I got back, I had to check out your website in hopes of hearing your music. WOW!!! Absolutely fabulous. I'd love to come to hear you and your band. I know Tim from long ago in the early days of Xavier .
I was just recently remembering the fun we had the summer of Peter Grimes - given the recent publicity and performance at the Met with the same fellow playing the lead. . .another talented Anthony. : )
Love to you and to Olive, too,
Hope to see you soon,
Elizabeth (miz peddy)

Mike Blackwell, and I stayed over till Monday, packed up, said our goodbye's singing The statue of Woody Guthrie, Happy Birthday, and This Land is Your Land. I left him with your Artist badge. I can't use it anymore (Dylan). Happy Birthday To You...,no I won't do that, Love is the answer, Jody, (the astronaut)

Hi Tony,
Just wanted to let you know I was flipping through channels one late nigt & came accross your band on pctv. Yes , it's true , there are people who watch that channel at 2:30am lol Anyways, being very in tune to people's energy I was struck by your prescence and compelled to watch your performance. You have an amazing , charismatic aura about you. Your lyrics spoke to me and touched my soul. You are a poet who is able to convey stories with great depth and emotion effortlessly and joyfully combined with good feeling music that just makes you smile.
After seeing you on tv, a few days later I saw the article in the Eagle about your cd party which had already passed ,( I would've been there), then 2days letter someone gave me some old papers and the Advocate was mixed in there with the article about you. I am not one to believe in coincidence only synchronicity so I will definitely make the LIVE on the lake. I am looking forward to seeing you perform , taking some pictures, if that's ok and picking up your cd.
Brightest blessings & keep on rockin'
Michele
P.S.
Could relate to thOwed To Silver Lake song as I live in the Morninside area so I know all about those pcbs!

I saw you at Woodyfest and bought your lovely album In Love and War. The first track has a problem with skipping (or something like that) and I don't know what to do about it. How do you handle such things? Your performance at the Crystal and pleasing manner after are a nice addition to my festival memories. Margaret

to see that the pilot was reading, very concerned she asked a flight attendant,
“Miss, why is the pilot reading? Isn’t he supposed to be flying? “The woman fainted when the flight

A guy walked into a bar one day and said to the barman, "Give me six double vodkas."
The barman says, "Wow! you must have had one hell of a day."
"Yeah, I just found out my oldest son is gay."
The next day, the same guy came into the bar and asked for the same drinks. When the bartender asked what the problem was today the answer came back, "I just found out that my youngest son is gay, too!"
On the third day, the guy came into the bar and ordered another six double vodkas. The bartender said, "Jesus! Doesn't anybody in your family like women?"
The man downed the first drink and shook his head, "Yeah, my wife!"

Surprise Package
spacer
A man was drinking in a bar when he noticed this beautiful young lady sitting next to him. "Hello there," says the man, "and what is your name?"
"Hello," giggles the woman, "I'm Stacey. What's yours?"
"I'm Jim."
"Jim, do you want to come over to my house tonight? I mean, right now??"
"Sure!" replies Jim, "Let's go!"
So Stacey takes Jim to her house and takes him to her room. Jim sits down on the bed and notices a picture of a man on Stacey's desk. "Stacey, I noticed the picture of a man on your desk," Jim says.
"Yes? And what about it?" asks Stacey.
"Is it your brother?"
"No, it isn't, Jim!" Stacey giggles. Jim's eyes widen, suspecting that it might be Stacey's husband.
When he finally asks, "Is it your husband?"
Stacey giggles even more, "No, silly!" Jim was relieved.
"Then, it must be your boyfriend!"
Stacey giggles even more while nibbling on Jim's ear. She says, "No, silly!!"
"Then, who is it?" Jim asks.
Stacey replies, "That's me BEFORE my operation!!"

Hey Superman, this is for you
Faster than a one-night stand leaves in the morning,
More powerful than years of built up despair,
Able to thaw frozen hearts with a single song,
Look up on the stage!
It’s a musician! It’s a rock star!
It’s Superman!
"Yes, it's Superman, strange guitar player from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Superman, who can change the course of life with his lyrics, bend women to his will with his music; and who, disguised as Tony Lee Thomas, mild-mannered poet in the great metropolis of Pittsfield, fights a never ending battle for truth, justice and the American way of music."

Surprise The Wife
After a few years of married life, this guy finds that he is unable to get it up anymore. He goes to his doctor, his doctor tries a few things but nothing works.
Finally the doctor says to him this is all in your mind, and refers him to a psychiatrist.
After a few visits to the shrink, the shrink confesses I am at a loss as to how you could possibly be cured.
Finally the psychiatrist refers him to a witch doctor.
The witch doctor tells him, I can cure this, and throws some powder on a flame, and there is a flash with billowing blue smoke....
The witch doctor says This is powerful healing but you can only use it once a year All you have to do is say 1 2 3 and it shall rise for as long as you wish
The guy then asks the witch doctor What happens after when its over?.
The witch doctor says all you have to say is 1 2 3 4 and it will go down. But be warned it will not work again for 3 months
This guy goes home and that night is ready to surprise his wife with the good news... So he is lying in bed with her and says 1 2 3, and suddenly he gets a hard-on.
His wife turns over and says What did you say 1 2 3 for ?
